Lustrous peach freshwater pearls hang from beautifully textured sterling silver discs reminiscent of a cratered moon.
Pearls have long been associated with the moon, the glowing white orbs eliciting a natural comparison. These connections are strengthened by the moon's influence on our waters, where pearls are born. In ancient Indian texts, pearls are considered the daughter of the moon and in Western cultures, the pearl has been associated with the planet Venus, whose namesake, the goddess of love, came from the sea.
